Before eating

Today approximately 40,000 children under the age of 5 died from starvation and related diseases. We are going to do something different tonight. We are going to eat some food that may taste different from what we normally eat, but this food would have saved some of the children who died today if they had eaten some of it. We are going to donate the cost of a normal meal to help feed some other children and keep them from dying. We are sending it to HIS Place which is a Kids Against Hunger Satellite.

Before we eat, we are going to say a prayer asking God to bless this food and to bless the children who will eat the food that is sent from the money we are donating.

After Prayer

Try to imagine you have not eaten for several days and you had no expectations of getting anything to eat because your little baby brother had already starved to death.
How do you think the food would taste to someone who had experienced such a tragedy and suddenly received a serving such as this?

What do you think we should do based on what the Bible says in this passage?

Pray and ask God what He wants you and family to do? Then just do what God says.
